Oh Burberry! There’s something about the brand that makes fashion so fun each and every season, especially their Prorsum line.
If you look at Burberry’s Prorsum 2015 Spring/Summer collection, you will immediately notice that some of the skirts (below) are like amazing pieces of art. If you love statement fashion items, these are a must!
Burberry Prorsum Dip-Dye Silk Petal Pencil Skirts:
Note: The skirts are crafted with a base of silk and are embroidered with dip-dyed petal embellishments. Each of the petals is then hand-placed and stitched to the silk base.
Comes in ‘bright navy’ (left) and ‘honey’ (right) for $4095 each
Burberry Prorsum Opaque Sequin Embroidered Pencil Skirts:
Note: Skirts embroidered with oversize sequins. Each matte-finished sequin is laser-cut, then hand-placed and sewn onto the base.
Comes in dark ‘forest green’ (left) and ‘white’ (right) for $3295 each
Burberry Prorsum Hand-Painted Layered Fringe Pencil Skirt:
Note: A fringed skirt featuring 2 layers of toned cotton tassels. Those tassels are sewn onto a base, then hand-painted to give a graduated effect.
Comes in ‘ash rose’ color for $3295
And of course, you can’t leave without looking at the handbags. Currently, there are 2 Prorsum handbags available from the 2015 SS collection on the official Burberry site.
The Medium Bloomsbury in Book Cover Print Leather Handbags:
Note: Handbags inspired by vintage book covers. The artwork is hand-painted in the Burberry studio before being printed onto the grainy leather.
Comes in ‘ink’ (Top) and ‘bright navy’ (Bottom) for $3295 each
